Our programs
Three programs. One mission.
Habitat for Students doesn't work alone. We've built a network of proven organizations to surround every student with the support they need — from early guidance through college graduation and beyond.
Local K-12 School Programs
School-Based Early Guidance
We partner with local school-based programs to reach youth early — before they age out of the system. These programs provide mentorship, academic support, and a focus on education as the path out of poverty and instability.
- Early academic intervention
- Mentorship and role models
- College pathway planning
- Resilience and goal-setting skills
Greek Organizations & National CASA/GAL
Greek Philanthropy & CASA/GAL
We work with Greek philanthropic organizations to raise funds for National Court Appointed Special Advocates and Guardian ad Litem (CASA/GAL) — providing every student in our program with a trained, dedicated adult advocate who stays with them through the legal system and beyond.
- Dedicated legal advocate for every student
- Ongoing adult support system
- Fundraising through Greek community
- Connection to national CASA/GAL network
University of Kansas
Fostering Jayhawks for Success
KU's Fostering Jayhawks for Success program channels everything the university has to offer — tutoring, counseling, career services, campus community — directly to students in our housing program. This partnership turns KU's resources into a personal support system.
- Full access to KU academic resources
- Campus community and belonging
- Career and professional development
- Mental health and wellness support
